Pride Mobility Products Corp.
Pride Mobility was up until 1986, a family
owned and operated business who specialized in power lift chairs.
By 1992, Pride Mobility Products
Corp, as it was now known, had added Mobility Scooters and accessories
to its list of products and services. Sometime in 1996 Pride Mobility had
added Power Wheelchairs to the list, with the name “Jazzy” being chosen
to market their own brand of Power Wheelchairs.
Pride Mobility operates in several other
countries besides the USA and Canada. They have subsidiary mobility
companies in Australia, Holland, Italy, New Zealand and the United Kingdom,
and everything is overseen from their corporate head office which is located
in Exeter, Pennsylvania.
Today, the Pride Mobility product range
includes: Mobility scooters, power wheelchairs, lift chairs, stair
lifts and ramps. Pride Mobility has become a world leader in
their specialized field of developing and designing mobility and rehabilitation
products for a global market. They have come a long way since their
days in the mid 1980’s as a family business that was only involved in the
power lift chair market.
